How to understand and read a Greyhound Racing Program
*******************************************************************
Greyhound racing program is an accurate form chart somewhat similar to a Daily Racing Form in horse racing. It contains all important for handicapper information on every greyhound participating in the particular race. It includes the relevant statistics for the greyhound’s performance in the previous 6 races. In particular you can find data on the actual racing times, places, weights and final odds of all eight greyhounds in the upcoming race.
The amount of data included in the greyhound racing program changes from one racing track to another. However, in an essence, all greyhound racing programs look the same. Below is the basic greyhound racing program and the explanations of the entries. When you get the program at the racing track it usually has an explanation of how to read and understand the program.
